A tree is composed of its roots that’s of its implantation, of ist trunk that’s its body and it support its branches from where born the leafs, flowers and fruits. Everyone has own shape, own colours, hight, build. There are trees so big, massive or really tiny and very tall. There are others more short or thick of leafs. It’s not rare to see some trees perfectly straight or some others more twisted, distorted, unbalanced, but that’s not reason why consider them ugly, or reject them or remove them.
As a tree, even the human body has a structure that we can recognize as implatations, “roots” that’s totally personal developed through our DNA where are archived all informations that’s responsible even for our look, that can be tall, skinny, massive or short, blond, brunette or ginger and this cannot be change. It’s our responsability to take awareness of it and let that grow ups “healthy fruits” “ever green leafs” and “multicoloured flowers” from it, all different for each one of us, creating own personal essence.
Animals and vegetables beings don’t follow standard models for to be part or to be recognized as a beings of that species. Simply they are part of it. That’s all! Human being instead destroy their body, trying to reach expectations that often cannot be satisfied. Our essence will remain the same.
Sometime that’s hard to accept even when our body is perfectly balanced with natural structure of our species, but when it’s been damaged at the our birth, or a bit time after that, by issues, unbalances into our DNA, that’s “our root”, informations inside of it changes and our look too as a consequence of it. So to accept our essence and that it’s will not change, could be a really hard work, stressful, oppressive and could compromise all our decisions and choices in our life. But if we understand faster that our issues can be a great value for the others or give a big help to the others, so our experiences made sense.
Why is so important to take care of your body, inside and outside of it? Why is so important to take care of your bones and muscles too?
The structure of a temple, or an old build, should be very strong, built on solid ground with a good tecnique of building to stay untouched for long time, for many years. In the same way your body can stay well longer if you make it stronger “trought building” of good muscles that make the bones strong too. This is not mean to pump muscles with exercises to appear more cool, but to make your body well for whole your life. To do that, to make exercises certainly is not the only way, we should be careful to what we’re eating too every day, what we let enter into the body, into our temple.
The health of our body is connect at how we treat it, at what we eat and also at our mental health. if you are focusing or not, your body will say it
You are what you appear
So, to get a good and healthy body, means have a true will firstly to reach real result at same time we should move the body, eating well and having a low stress level that’s really important to control. To do that meditation and breathing exercises are good ways.
I want propose here other series of videos to start move the body with simple exercises to learn know it and manage it, with strong attention to the back. My activity is focused on the Pilates method, that’s specific exercises focused to make the deep muscles of the back strong and flexible and It’s also recommended to whom have bones issues, infact It’s increasingly used by physiotherapist or suggested by orthopedists.

Stress is main cause of any issues, pain and tension in our body. Now in this challenging and uncertain time, its level is more high and make our mind, our brain really worn up. Every day from morning to evening we are getting stress on our job, with our relationships, in our daily life. Let it go from our mind is the most important thing to do because our body is showing what we got inside of us. That’s the reason why we take on some wrong postures or poses for many hours until our stress level goes down. if we are angry we’ll tent to press or squeeze our muscles, or if we are nervous or restless we’ll move our body more faster. These are just some little examples
One of the main issues about stress is the back pain in addiction to headache, stomach ache, gastritis, and a lot of other inflammations. back pain doesn’t let us enjoying our day or working well and often sleeping on night. What can we do? lower the stress level is the first thing to do. Find our inner peace is the goal that we have to reach to relax the muscles and avoid bad position to take on our body. Meditation can help us. Moreover we should practice some exercises daily to keep our spine and joints agile, elastic and prevent any pain.

26 has been the years which I got to know and understand what mean live with a “unbalance”. Yes I wanna call it simply an unbalance, I won’t to talk about issues, diseases or disability. why? Officially an issue, a disease, a disability identify a person that’s not able to use their body in normal way, or in other words, they live with a physical or mental condition that make them unable to live their life like others. That sound so negative! Many people react at that condition living their life normally, finding a sense or supporting others simply talking about it, inspiring them throught solidarity activites. Theese are just some example, but theese are for me some of the ways to transform issues, diseases, disabilites in “only unbalances”. Helping others, throught personal experiences, changes positively our mentality, changes our approach to our personal condition, help us to find a “new balances”. Since 26 years. Since when I was 8 I’m working to find my personal approach, my new balance.
WELCOME INTO “MY BACK CARE”
My name is Raffaella Scognamiglio, I’m italian and I’m living and working in London since 3 years. I’m a young woman and I’ve an unbalance.
I was born in a province of Naples in the South of Italy, Torre del Greco is its name a city near the sea. I grew up with taste of salt, sunny and warm mediterranean wheather, genuine and handmade food with loving care of my parents. I know what mean have a lot of handmade bottles of tomato sauce scattered in the kitchen, or wake up early on sunday morning for to prepare a base for tagliatella pasta ready fo the lunch, let grow up rosemary, chilly and mint plants on the balcony of house or prepare nice apple cake or a tiramisù full of scented coffee patientely prepared with italian moka.
But in this atmosphere, soon, I realized to have a distorcion on my back, it twisted causing pain to me, marking my young age. Scoliosi was the diagnosis. One of the serious cases. The operation was the solution for all orthopaedist, but I never felt to do it and my parents too. I was 14 and we decided for an anternative treatment. For the following 6 years I saw the doctors constantly, wearing orthopedic corsets, went in the hospital for to get orthopedic plaster cast corset as well and I made specific excercises for to try to correct my problem. They’re not been peaceful years of my life, not totally. After that I stopped to do all these things, on purpose, to make my choices, study and live my life free from that.
Around 7 years ago, I have been in a private studio of an orthopedist at Naples for my last visit for to check the state on my back because it begun to cause pain to me again. I was really scared about that. I didn’t want to wear orthopedic corset again or worse, to get an operation. I remember well what He said to me and never I forgot it: “You can do anything. Do what you prefer and please don’t stop, anymore!”
It was in that moment that I discovered a practice that I never more left, a method that I practice every day or when I have time and that it made my muscle more strengthed, the best way and the best thing to support the back and prevent any pain to it, specially to backs with issues. Pilates Method specifc for the back care helped me, my twisted vertebrae and my muscles. With that exercises method, that’s now is similar at Yoga practice in some poses, I discovered some things about me, that is my elastic ligaments that they have allowed to me to practice Pilates in a good way, but also improve it, improve my balance, my concentration and breathing as well, that they are the basics to reach a great state of body and mind.
YOUR POSTURE YOUR FUTURE
Right posture and keep it in a good condition is the basis for preventing any causes of pain in your body or issues. It needs costant reviewing for avoid to take on bad habits and preserve a good state of it for long time and we have to know how to do it. But knowledge is not enought if you haven’t a continue attention at look after it, if you don’t think that that’s important. Often our posture is originated from our thoughts. Remember this: your appearance is result of what you’re thinking.
